Dr. Tamanna Gandhi, DMD
Dr. Gandhi grew up in Southern New Hampshire and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Adelphi University in Long Island, New York. She received her DMD degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honors Society.
After graduating from dental school, she completed a one year General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System with the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She then returned to Boston University School of Dental Medicine for another two years of specialty training in Endodontics.
Dr. Gandhi began practicing Endodontics in the suburbs of Boston, MA. She relocated to Albany, NY with her husband to be closer to her family. Dr. Gandhi’s goal is to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible and provide the best care, using the latest technologies and techniques.
In her free time, she enjoys cycling, yoga, trying new cuisines, and spending time with her husband, Eric, and sweet miniature dachshund, Winnie.
Dr. Michael Landau, DMD (retired)
Dr. Landau received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Cornell University. He received his DMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After one year of General Practice Residency at Metropolitan Hospital Center in NYC, he returned to school in Philadelphia to become an Endodontist at the Albert Einstein Medical Center. He has been in full time practice limited to Endodontics since August 1985. His practice in Albany opened in October 1987.
Dr. Landau has taught the General Practice Residents at St. Clares’ Hospital, Albany Medical Center, and St. Peter’s Hospital. He was twice chosen as Attending of the Year by the residents at St. Peter’s. He has also given lectures to the Albany and Troy Dental Study Clubs.
Dr. Landau is a lifelong car and motorcycle enthusiast and spends his spare time in the garage and at cruise nights. In the winter he is a downhill skier. A classic rock music fan, he enjoys attending live concerts. Dr. Landau retired in June of 2024 but still frequently visits the practice. We would like to thank Dr. Landau for the many teeth he saved over his career!
